where have you seen my work?
Hi there! I'm Brittney, a Los Angeles-based artist passionate about creating art that sparks conversation and drives change. I'm grateful for the opportunities I've had to share my work with diverse audiences and collaborate with inspiring organizations.
A Glimpse of My Journey and Major Collaborations:
Mural Magic: From the vibrant "Sis" for Destination Crenshaw to "Freedom Won't Wait" for US Bank in Downtown LA, I've been fortunate to paint my vision across city walls. A particularly meaningful project was the DJ Henry Memorial Mural at Pace University.
Gallery Presence: It's been an honor to exhibit at esteemed venues like the Palm Springs Art Museum and participate in shows such as the LA Artshow with Valence Projects.
Brand Collaborations: I've had the incredible opportunity to work with companies like:
Target (creating the "Lady Inglewood" mural and commercial)
Bungie (designing the "Aqua Sankofa" ghost sculpture for Destiny's 10th anniversary)
HBO Max (commissioned work for "Sex Life of College Girls")
Warner Bros (set design work)
Food Network TV (commissioned mural)
Marquis Energy Drink (West Hollywood Andaz Hotel Mural "Embrace Your Crown")
Avocado Mattress (Kamala Harris/Ruby Bridges Mural)
Community Connection: I've been privileged to work on numerous community-focused projects:
LA vs Hate (Mural cube community event and Summer of Solidarity Residency)
LA Commons (multiple projects including South Central Rooted Community Project, Story Circle Initiative, and collaborative public installations)
Black Lives Matter LA Chapter (leading workshops)
Jennesse Center (Community Mobile Mural)
The California Endowment (Black History Month feature "Flight Song")
Pace University (DJ Henry Memorial Mural)
Educational Engagement: I'm thankful for chances to share knowledge, like speaking on Artivism at Santiago College, conducting workshops for the Community Theater Group, and creating a mural for Obama Global Prep Academy in Compton.
Media Moments: It's been surreal to see my work featured by YouTube Originals, Google Earth, and NBCLX.
These experiences have shaped my artistic journey, and I'm excited to continue creating work that resonates and inspires.
